Personal Coaching / Personal Visioning Your Vision of the Future

Where do you Want to go?

First: Think about your ideal day, work day or weekend day. Create a vision of that day. Be as specific as you can. What time is it? When do you get up? What do you do? Who is with you? Where do you eat? What do you eat?

Second: Check the Balance Categories that apply to you. Add others if you need to. On the left side of the Life Balance Categories explain your least desirable situation for that Category. For example, if your worst physical situation would be that you are overweight and have high blood pressure, write that on the left side next to the “Physical Activities” category.

Third: each of the items on the Life Balance Categories, define your vision for the item. For example, if you visualize getting a promotion under Work Activities, write that next to “Work Activities” on the right side of the model.

Where are you?

Fourth: Place an X on each of the lines to show where you are today. If you feel you are closer to your personal vision for Family Activities, place the X closer to the right side of the chart. If you feel you are not close at all to your Cultural Activities vision, place the X closer to the left side of the chart.

Create your Vision of the Future

Fifth: Work with your coach to create goals that will help you get from where you are today, to where you want to be living your vision of the future.
